TERMS OF USE

1. Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and jsouce ("jsouce," "we," "us," or "our"), which operates the Frola mobile applications, website, and related services (collectively, the "Frola" app or "Service").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Frola is a social events platform. Depending on your settings and permissions, the Service may allow you to:
- Discover and browse events near you
- Create, host, and manage events
- Request or grant attendance
- Follow other users and manage followers
- Send and receive direct and event-related messages
- Share profile and event information, including location
- Report content or users you believe violate these Terms
- Block other users
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Frola, you represent that you meet this requirement and have authority to enter into these Terms.
4. Accounts and security
4.1 Registration. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You may sign in using methods we support (for example email/phone verification or third-party sign-in such as Google, where available).
4.2 Your responsibility. You are responsible for activity on your account and for safeguarding your credentials. Notify us promptly at jsouceorg+support@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4.3 Termination by you. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time through Profile → Settings → Account, or by contacting jsouceorg+support@gmail.com.
4.4 Termination by us. We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, pose a risk to others, or where required by law.
5. User content and license
5.1 Your content. You retain ownership of content you submit (for example profile text, event details, messages, photos, and voice notes). You grant jsouce a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for technical formatting), display, and distribute your content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
5.2 Your responsibilities. You are solely responsible for content you post and for events you host or attend.
5.3 Prohibited content and conduct. You must not use the Service to post, share, or facilitate content or activity that:
- Is illegal or promotes illegal activity
- Is harassing, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, or exploitative
- Is sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise exploits minors
- Infringes intellectual property or privacy rights of others
- Is fraudulent, deceptive, or spam
- Distributes malware or attempts to compromise the Service
- Doxxes or shares others’ personal data without permission
- Encourages violence or self-harm
5.4 Moderation. We use automated tools (including third-party moderation services) and human review of reports to detect policy violations, especially for event content. We may remove content, restrict visibility, or suspend accounts at our discretion. We are not obligated to monitor all content.
5.5 Reporting and blocking. You can report profiles, events, and messages in the app. You can block users; blocked users cannot follow you, message you, or appear in your event feed as described in the app. Reports are reviewed according to our operational procedures; we aim to act on serious safety issues promptly but do not guarantee outcomes or response times in every case.
6. Events and real-world activity
6.1 User-hosted events. Events are created by users, not by jsouce. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or legality of any event.
6.2 Attendance. Attendance may require host approval. Hosts and attendees are responsible for their own conduct and compliance with applicable laws.
6.3 Assumption of risk. You attend events and interact with other users at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, jsouce is not responsible for the acts or omissions of hosts, attendees, or third parties.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy at /privacy (or the in-app Privacy Policy) explains how we collect and use personal data. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, design, and branding (excluding your content), is owned by jsouce or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, contact jsouceorg+legal@gmail.com with sufficient detail for us to evaluate your notice.
9. Third-party services
The Service may integrate third-party services (for example maps, authentication, analytics, advertising, crash reporting, push notifications, or cloud hosting). Your use of those services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, jsouce DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that content will be accurate or free of objectionable material.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, jsouce AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50, EXCEPT WHERE SUCH LIMITS ARE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold harmless jsouce from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, your events or attendance, or your violation of these Terms or others’ rights.
13. Dispute resolution and governing law
13.1 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply where they cannot be waived.
13.2 Informal resolution. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact jsouceorg+legal@gmail.com and try to resolve the dispute informally.
13.3 Courts. Where arbitration or class waivers are not enforceable for you, disputes may be brought in the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
14. Pricing, advertising, and future paid features
14.1 Free service. The Service is currently free to use. We may show advertising (for example banner or native ads) when enabled on our systems.
14.2 Future freemium or subscriptions. We may later offer optional paid features or subscriptions. If we do, we will present applicable prices and payment terms in the app or app store checkout, and we will update these Terms and our Privacy Policy before charging you.
14.3 No payment data today. We do not process payment card or bank account data in the current version of the Service.
15. Availability in your country
The Service may be offered in countries including the European Union, the United States, Türkiye, and parts of Asia, subject to app store availability and local law. You are responsible for complying with laws where you access or host events. We may limit or discontinue availability in specific countries at any time.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated Terms at /terms and in the app, and indicate the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
